In an extremely shocking news, popular Nepali movies director Alok Nembang has been reportedly found dead at his own apartment based in Dhapasi, Kathmandu. According to the information from metropolitan police in Kathmandu, the incident took place around 7-8 PM and that the team is still investigating the case.
Although much hasn’t been revealed yet, several media quoting DSP Dinesh Acharya of Metropolitan Police Range report it as a suicide case. “He apparently committed suicide by hanging himself with a belt” sources report. The police reported Nembang’s body to be hanging from his apartment’s stair’s railing.
One of the most popular movies directors, Alok Nembang is know for starting a new-generation-movies trend with successful movies like ‘Sano Sansar’ and ‘Kohi Mero’. The director who started his journey by directing music videos has shown his excellent skills in more than 500 music videos.
Alok Nembang was one of the most talented directors, the industry has seen in past years. Mostly busy with music videos, his directorial comeback of a feature movie after five years – ‘Ajhai Pani’ is scheduled to release on 2nd of May.
