Chhadke Nepali Movie releases New Theatrical Trailer

Nepali Movie Chhadke’s popularity has soared like no other Nepali movies in past months after its Trailer and one of its songs went online. Chhadke Nepali Movie is probably the only upcoming movie of current times that has made Nepali movies audience ever enthusiastic to wait for and build hope in future of Nepali movies. And we believe its one of the movies that will reinstate faith in Nepali movies in upcoming year 2013 similar to what Loot did this year. Here’s a theatrical version of the Chhadke Nepali movie released today that will show you more of what to expect from the movie.

The longer version of the trailer dazzles for sure but more important than that it also reveals other characters such as Saugat Malla who was never seen in the promo videos (trailer and song) of the movie before. Chhadke’s story is based on Gangsters and the theatrical trailer has made it more evident.

Chhadke Nepali Movie Release Postponed

Chhadke, which was previously scheduled to release on 19th Magh (1st of February 2013) has now been re-scheduled to 11th Falgun (22nd February 2013). According to its producer and distributor Narendra Maharjan, there’s lot technical things remaining to be completed and thus the release date had to be extended. The post-production seems to take much longer then we had expected and so we had to extend our deadline of release – Maharjan said speaking to some chalchitra websites.

Chhadke is a star-studded movie featuring Saugat Malla, Namrata Shrestha,Arpan Thapa, Dayahang Rai, Prateek Raj Neupane and Sunil Pokhrel. Not just the popular movie faces, the movie also introduces Nepali music icon Robin Tamang to the big screens. Other new comers in the movie include Bipin Karki, Kaameswor Chaurasiya, Nikun Shrestha and Safal KC. The movie is directed by Nigam Shrestha who himself has written its story. He previously worked as an assistant director for the Nepali blockbuster Loot. The producers of Chhadke – Madhav Wagle and Narendra Maharjan were also the producer of Loot. The movie is being made under banner of Ras Tandav.

An Aside – The theatrical trailers are revealed on the same day Dabbang-2 a sequel to blockbuster movie Dabbang hits the theatres in the Nepal. A reference to the Dabbang’s character – Chulbul Pandey has been made in the funny part of Chhadke movie and thus suits the release day. Also Chhadke team spotted a better opportunity of promoting Chhadke to the Nepali audience visiting theatres for much-hyped Bollywood flick – Dabbang 2.

While other lineups in 2013 like “Badhshala” also look promising, our instinct as of now tells us that Chhadke will be the one to hit the jackpot (No offence and not comparing with any other Movies). Reactions to Chhadke theatrical trailer however are yet to be seen.
