Upcoming year 2013 has a long list of scheduled-to-release promising Nepali Movies. Badhshala Nepali Movie is one of the strongest movies among them. The star-studded movie directed by Manoj Pandit is based on issues of human rights during the years long insurgency period in Nepal. And so the movie team on occasion of 64th Human Rights day released the first look posters of the movie amidst a press meet in Kathmandu today. Here’s the first look poster of Badhshala Nepali Movie.
The upcoming feature film Badhshala is produced by Smashing Apple and stars Anup Baral, Saugat Malla, Dayahang Rai, Khagendra Lamichhane, Arpan Thapa, Sarita Giri and Samuna Kc in lead roles.
Director Manoj Pandit focuses on real incidents of Human Rights in the movie. His previous movie Dasdhunga was also based on a real story of road accident incident involving former UML General Secretary Madan Bhandari and leader Jeevraj Ashrit. He also made a popular documentary “Greater Nepal” reflecting India’s intrusion of Nepali land in the past. As a result of reality issues movie-making, Manoj Pandit has been in controversy several times with his films.
“Badhshala focuses on human rights violation issues between two facets during the uprising in Nepal and is my interpretation of the reality,” says Manoj Pandit in an interview by Aman Pratap Adhikary for TTV. The movie is written by director Manoj Pandit himself and Shailendra Dhwoj Karki is behind the cinematography. The publicity designs are from Swapnil Acharya and he has also put into effort to release digital poster for Badhshala Nepali Movie.
The movie is scheduled to release all over Nepal on 8th March 2013 (25th Falgun). All the best to Badhshala team!
